Getting Started

Why is the video not playing?
When the extension is ON, video streams are intentionally blocked. You will only hear the audio while the player displays the video thumbnail. If you want to watch the video, toggle OFF the extension and refresh the page.
Does this extension work with YouTube Music?
This extension is designed for YouTube video pages. YouTube Music already provides audio-only streaming natively, so the extension focuses on the standard YouTube experience.
What happens when a video has an ad?
The extension handles ad playback gracefully. When an ad plays or is skipped, the extension automatically re-applies audio-only mode to the actual video content.
Does it work on mobile browsers?
This extension is built for Chrome on desktop. Mobile Chrome does not support extensions at this time.
The extension stopped working after an update. What should I do?
Try going to Chrome's extension management page (Chrome menu → More tools → Extensions) and clicking the refresh icon on the extension card. Then reload the YouTube page.
Can I use this in Incognito mode?
